Silent Journey – Oct 20 & 21 2023

Northeast Iowa Montessori will be hosting a Silent Journey. This is an opportunity for you to experience the Montessori learning environment.

On Friday night, we will have a time of silent viewing and then a time for questions and answers. On Saturday, we will continue the journey with a time for you to become a student and learn as your child learns for a shortened work period. You will move about the environment as your child would, making choices of materials for learning. Both the Children’s House and Elementary will be hosting this event. You will explore both learning environments.

If you have been to a Silent Journey before, please come again!  There are always more things to see and learn!

We will have light snacks on Friday night and a light breakfast snack on Saturday.

This event is for adults only. It is very fun to return to your child and have made a connection with the materials they speak of and share in the excitement of their learning journey!

An RSVP is not required, but if you are certain to attend, you could let us know at drop off or pick up, this will help us gauge food preparations.
