Financial Aid

We understand that many families would like to provide a Montessori education to their children, but are limited financially. Several possibilities may exist for qualifying families.

Age 3 – Tuition assistance is made available through the HAWC Partnership for Children (Howard, Allamakee, Winneshiek, and Clayton Counties). The HAWC 3-year-old tuition assistance funds vary from year to year and are allocated depending upon family needs.  You can print the HAWC financial aid application here (PDF).

Age 4 – Northeast Iowa Montessori School is an active partner with the Iowa Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program to subsidize our program for 4-year-old children and provide a discounted tuition rate for our 4-year-old students. Student must turn 4 on or before September 15, 2024.

Ages 3-12 – It is the intent of the Northeast Iowa Montessori School Board to allocate funds to be used for NEIM tuition scholarships, contingent upon funding availability. You can print the NEIM Scholarship Policy and Application here (PDF).

Financial assistance is also coordinated through the Department of Human Services, Child Care Resources, and SCRIP.
